Jamie heads to the Glasshouse Mountains with his Landrover 130 Defender. This area is known for its first class 4wheeldrive tracks with a few steeps hills & mud holes thrown in for good measure. Along with Jamie was another Defender and a Hilux ute.

    Rain had bucketed down the preceding week which made for a challenging adventure. The difficult terrain tested their 4wding experiance with the snatch strap & winch being bought into use. As you can see the the trusty old girl needed a bit of a hand in keeping her four wheels firmly on the ground.

    Jamie did a great job getting up some challenging hills with all the weight the Defender carries seeing the Hilux & other Defender had diff locks. It just goes to show how good the old Defender 130 really is.

    After trekking through the bush, getting bogged in some big mud holes, climbing some of the steepest hill, they finally made it to the top of the Glasshouse Mountains for a fantastic view of Mt Beerwah.
