Smart Start dual battery isolator solenoid

The Smart Start is a microprocessor controlled Smart Battery Isolator designed specifically for use in multi battery applications as a solenoid priority system to protect the start battery from being excessively discharged by auxiliary loads, whilst still allowing the auxiliary battery to supply non essential loads.

Put simply, once the start battery is charged by the alternator, the Smart Start will connect an auxiliary battery to the charge circuit. Similarly, if the start battery voltage drops too low, the Smart Start will disconnect any auxiliary batteries or loads to conserve charge in the start battery.

The D250S Dual charger obtains its energy from DC sources such as alternators, solar panels or wind power and optimises this power to meet the charging requirements of different battery banks.

It automatically selects the best connected DC energy source of 2 for the purpose and switches between them to achieve high efficiency fully automatic 5-stage charging that supplies 20A to 12V lead-acid batteries (Wet, MF, Gel, AGM) of 40-300Ah.

The charger is water jet and dust protected and approved for outdoor use.
